The largest Oktoberfest east of Kitchener-Waterloo takes place on the last full weekend of September each year with over 3,000 party goers travelling to Tatamagouche, to attend the North Shore Bavarian Society's Oktoberfest.
Each event includes good food, beverages, music and dancing. There’s entertainment from great bands, from the Kitchener-Waterloo and from the local area. They play German Oktoberfest music as well as popular music, something for Everyone.
There are many concession booths serving up all kinds of tasty treats ranging from traditional such as sausages, schnitzel, to pizzas and potato chips. A variety of souvenirs are available including, beer steins, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, pins and other novelty items. Many beverages are available including domestic and imported beer, local wines, soft drinks and coffee.
So put on you lederhosen or dirndl, learn the words to Ein Prosit and practice your chicken dance then come out and join us for the greatest party in Atlantic Canada.
